Join Janice Hough, IMMA Residency Programmer, for an insightful tour of IMMA’s Studios. On this tour you will have the chance to meet some of the current artists working and living on site. Each artist will give a short talk on current projects they are researching while at the museum. Current residents include: Sibyl Montague, Callum Hill, Katie Watchorn, Suzanne O’Haire, Lyndon Barrois Jr, Emma Wolf Haugh and Ground Up Collective.
Open Studio Talks are part of IMMA’s informal studio tours, led by an IMMA curator with resident artists, where you will be guided through a diverse range of studio based work. Open Studios will follow from 14:00 – 16:00 when resident artists will open their studio doors to the public offering the chance to see behind the scenes and further explore artists’ projects in the making while on residency at IMMA. No need to book in advance, just come to the Main Reception. Spaces are limited and are allocated on a first come basis, so be sure to arrive 10 minutes in advance.
IMMA’s residency provides opportunities for national and international artists, curators, critical writers and art professionals to research and develop their practices onsite at the Museum.
