Northern Irish artist Clement McAleer studied Fine Art at Canterbury College of Art and the Royal College of Art, London. He received a major award from the Arts Council of Northern Ireland in 1981. McAleer was elected as an Associate of the Royal Ulster Academy in 2006. His work is held in numerous public and private collections including the Ulster Museum, Belfast; the Arts Councils of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the European Parliament, Brussels.
