Join Paola Catizone this Friday, 17 July for a yoga and movement session at The People’s Pavilion. Enjoy easing your tensions away while relaxing in the beautiful grounds of the RHK. These classes will suit both beginners and more experienced participants. Please avoid eating a large meal before the class and wear comfortable clothes. Bring your own mat and an extra layer of clothing for extra warmth during relaxation.
Paola is a yoga, movement and meditation facilitator with more than 35 years of teaching experience. She is a member of IMMA’s Visitors Engagement Team where she designs and delivers tours and art workshops for all ages.
She trained with The Irish Yoga Association in 1987-89, becoming tutor on the IYA Teacher Training Course in 1989, where she worked on teacher training and on course planning with a focus on the study of yoga philosophy. She is a qualified counsellor (IICH) and a visual artist (MFA NCAD).
Paola currently runs yoga courses in Dublin and on Zoom, her classes combine a number of western somatic techniques, with traditional yoga practices. She believes in slowing down to listen to the body and sees embodiment as a doorway to an expanded, creative and healthier way of being in the world.
Booking
There will be two sessions throughout the day, 11am – 12.15pm and 3pm – 4.15pm.
