In association with the exhibition, Protest and Conflict, Chapter Four of The Narrow Gate of the Here-and-Now, Evan Garza invites Nuit Banai and other guests to join him in a series of critical conversations to unpack issues of border politics in contemporary art practice.

Explorer Family Workshop: Create your own Snake

Help us add to Ireland’s reptile species with our special snake themed Explorer family art workshop! During this creative workshop our Visitor Engagement Team will show families how to create a wriggly, winding reptile. Using recycled coloured and patterned fabrics, families will unleash their creativity imagination creating artworks of different shapes and sizes for you to take home. All materials provided.

Visit an ambitious exhibition called The Narrow Gate of the Here-and-Now that showcases the IMMA Collection and the history of the Museum since 1991. Presented in four themed exhibitions and with over 200 artworks that includes a wide range of contemporary Irish artists.
