IMMA Outdoors is delighted to continue the Seed STUDIO Reading series hosted by artist Clodagh Emoe. As part of 2023 summer programming Seed STUDIO Reading #5 will take place with invited ecotect Paul Leech on Sunday 23rd July, from 1 – 2pm. Paul will draw on sources including; essays, articles etc. and from his extensive eco-tecture practice and current activism to explore and interrogate what is holding us back from one planet living.

Seed STUDIO Reading events, conceived by Clodagh Emoe, explore our connectedness with the natural world touching on urgent issues of our biodiversity crisis, nature deficient disorder and the climate crisis. The event invites participants to wander and wonder; comprising of a short orientation on site followed by a reading by invited experts/writers from their own work and conversation.

This is a free outdoor event. The initial meeting point is Studio 9 on Studio Street, from here the group will be guided by the artist to an outdoor location onsite where Paul Leech will read to the participants. No advance reading or study is required. As a static outdoor activity guests are advised to dress comfortably. Some blankets will be available to sit on and chairs can be borrowed from the studio for anyone requiring supported seating.
