The IMMA Collection is a unique resource which is made available to the public through a vibrant programme of temporary exhibitions and projects. Collection Exhibitions may explore the work of an individual artist, or address a theme or historic period.
In advance of IMMA’s 30th anniversary in 2021, the exhibition IMMA Archive: 1990s From the Edge to the Centre celebrates an ambitious IMMA Collection and Archive Digitisation Project initiated in 2017. Join IMMA’s Collection Programmer, Johanne Mullan, and Shay Cleary FRIAI, architect for the initial development and launch of IMMA in 1991, for an exhibition walk-through as they expand on the treasures of the IMMA Archive and the unique nature of the building.
