A Radical Plot will open IMMA’s Studio Street to create an avenue of encounters with performances, installations, and an occasional peek behind the scenes.
Join us for Afternoons with Minerva: A Studio Visit with artist Isdaora Epstein & guests. Experience Untitled, an installation and corresponding performance by poet and performance artist Chinedum Muotto. See Jan McCullough explore the acts and sites of ‘fabrication’. Hear a poetry recital and find out more about growing plots with Clodagh Emoe. Overwhelm the senses in multidisciplinary world of Aoife Dunne and tap into subversive appropriation with Liliane Puthod. Play Mark Clare’s Ping Pong Diplomacy, visit A Secret Space with ANU, find Sean Hanrahan’s Memory Anthem flying high on the West Avenue and take part in his workshop. Enjoy a mini exhibition of the work of Studio 10 celebrating 30 years with IMMA and join the whistle stop tour of Studio Street with the Residency Programmer.
IMMA’s Open Studios offer the Museum’s site, history, and our collective relationship to an evolving future as a catalyst for research and practices. All events can be experienced from the outdoors looking in.
Please note, these events take place mainly outdoors, be sure to wear suitable clothing and footwear, and pack an umbrella in case of wet weather.
