Join Irish artist Maggie Madden for a tour of the exhibition ‘IMMA Collection: Then and Now, Janet Mullarney‘. With work from the early 1980s to 2018 the exhibition demonstrates the remarkable multiplicity of her career through a wide-ranging body of work. The tour will be followed by an introductory 3D workshop creating sculptural constructions using found, humble and discarded materials. No previous art experience required.
Irish artist Janet Mullarney attended the Accademia di Belle Arti and Scuola Professionale di Intaglio, Florence. Incorporating a range of materials including bronze, wood, plaster, foam, cloth, glass and wax, her dynamic sculptural works reference religious iconography, art history and human relationships. Mullarney’s work is represented in public collections including that of the Arts Council, the OPW, and Dublin City Gallery The Hugh Lane.View Artist
