Events and Experiences
IMMA MEMBERS launched in December 2023, and since then we have built an inclusive and enthusiastic community of people from all corners of Ireland who want to experience culture in new ways. From our panel of creatives to start off the year, to celebrating Pride with Seanchoíche, floating through the cosmos at The Space Between’s soundbath, and hearing the secrets of costume design with Consolata Boyle and DIFF, the first year of IMMA MEMBERS was phenomenal.
In joining IMMA MEMBERS, you have supported the Museum to bring creativity to broader audiences, to reach beyond the gallery walls with an invitation to come together to experience, imagine, and enjoy. There are no better ambassadors for our mission to be Radically Public than our IMMA MEMBERS.

Event #1 - IMMA MEMBERS x Tabhair Aire, Saturday, February 22nd, 2025
IMMA MEMBERS x Tabhair Aire
22 Feb | THE GREAT HALL, IMMA
Kicking off our 2025 programme will be Tabhair Aire. In February, Naoise and Dave will bring their community yoga and wellness event to IMMA, inspiring our members to take care of themselves in the year ahead. Rooted in Irish language and culture, this special edition of Tabhair Aire will weave together a mixture of music and ciorcal comhrá, to inspire and connect participants following an invigorating yoga session.
Priority Booking will be available exclusively to IMMA MEMBERS from January 31st, with a limit of two per person, one for you and a guest. Due to capacity limitations in the Museum event spaces, tickets for this event are available on a first-come-first-served basis.
Guests will be treated to some refreshments hand-picked by Naoise and Dave from some of their favourite companies to work with, including the wonderful Nibbed Cacao.

In May, IMMA will welcome internationally renowned fashion designer Simone Rocha to our Great Hall as part of our IMMA MEMBERS programme. Simone will sit down with photographer and IMMA Collection artist Perry Ogden to discuss her celebrated design practice, inspired and influenced by a deep connection to art and the art world.

September sees the return of EARTH RISING, our annual eco arts festival, to IMMA, alongside a visit from Bohemian Football Club. Exploring using unlikely platforms to create social change, IMMA and Bohs will be in conversation to discuss how engaging fans, members, and audiences in community-led climate action can help combat the Climate Crisis.

Event #4 - IMMA MEMBERS x Seanchoíche, December, 2025
IMMA MEMBERS x Seanchoíche
December | THE BAROQUE CHAPEL, IMMA
Ending 2025 on a high, our friends at Seanchoíche will return to the IMMA Baroque Chapel for a night of storytelling in December. Always a heartwarming evening like no other, expect some festive magic as Seanchoíche welcomes people from all corners to come, listen and engage with spoken stories, ranging from personal anecdotes, monologues to poetry pieces and anything in between.
