Since May 2016 The Dean Dublin has supported IMMA as the museum’s Official Hospitality Partner.
Since The Dean opened their doors in 2014, they has strived to create a fun and vibrant space for their guests, right in the heart of the city. An ideal partnership, both IMMA and The Dean value cutting edge and contemporary art with The Dean showcasing original artworks by Irish artists throughout the hotel. Their collection, curated by James Earley, features many artists whose work is also represented in the IMMA Collection; these include Irish artists Mark Francis, Richard Gorman, Patrick Scott and Samuel Walsh. The Dean Lobby features a glowing Neon LED sign I Fell in Love Here by British artist Tracey Emin, whose work is also included in the IMMA Collection, on long term loan from the Weltkunst Collection.
The partnership has been a natural fit and genuine relationship from the beginning. The collaboration has been constantly evolving and developing enabling The Dean to offer their guests the unique opportunity to engage with IMMA’s creative and experimental programmes, while enabling IMMA to invite some of the most influential figures in the Irish and international art world, including artists, curators and collectors, to come to Dublin. The partnership was extended with the opening of The Dean’s sister hotel The Devlin in November 2018.
As IMMA’s Major Hospitality Partner we are delighted to welcome leading figures in the Irish and international art world to stay and experience The Dean and The Devlin. Our values are aligned with what IMMA does best, creating new experiences that engage visitors.
