About the Artist

Phil Collins b.1970

English artist and film maker Phil Collins studied Drama and English at the University of Manchester. He worked with the London-based performance group Max Factory before moving to Belfast to complete an MA in Fine Art at the University of Ulster. Collins’ photographic and video installations involving diverse social groups gained critical attention from 1999. While still a student he was selected to show at Manifesta 3 in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Collins was nominated for the Turner Prize in 2006. — View Artist »
