    Michael Ashur, b.1950

    Irish painter Michael Ashur studied at the National College of Art and Design, Dublin. Influenced by scientific research and discovery, his paintings are dynamic, hard edged and executed with precision. Ashur exhibited at the Irish Exhibition of Living Art, at the RHA, and had a number of solo exhibitions at the David Hendriks Gallery, Dublin. His work is represented in public collections including Dublin City Gallery The Hugh Lane; the Arts Council and University College Dublin.
