    Pierre Huyghe, b.1962

    French artist Pierre Huyghe attended the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Graphiques et Décoratifs. He works in film, installation and public intervention to explore ideas of ritual and tradition in contemporary society and man’s relationship with nature. Huyghe has exhibited widely since the 1990s, including solo exhibitions at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, Madrid; Tate Modern, London; and the Guggenheim Museum, New York. His film ‘Streamside Day’ was shown at IMMA in 2005.
