Through narration of her own story Patricia Villanueva creates investigation and visual representation centred on the events that burst into her day-to-day living.  Through these concepts of self-portraits and role-playing Patricia’s work exhibits a complex mixture between intimacy and universality.  Her work is multi-disciplinary but predominantly deals with print and its applications.  Patricia Villanueva’s residency is kindly supported by the UNESCO/Aschberg bursaries for artists.
