British artist Michael Landy studied art at Loughton, Loughborough, and at Goldsmiths College, London. He achieved acclaim in the early 1990s as one of the emerging Young British Artists. Landy has exhibited extensively worldwide and his work is represented in major collections including Tate, London; The British Council, London; MoMA, New York; Walker Art Center, Minneapolis and the Government Art Collection, London. In 2008 he was elected a member of the Royal Academy of Arts.
