Peruvian painter Luis Estremadoyro studied at the school of Fine Arts in his native city Lima. In 1981 he represented Peru at the IV Biennial in Medellin, Colombia. Regarded as one of the most important Latin American figurative painters, in 1990 he was invited as a professor to teach at the École Nationale des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He currently lives and works in Lima, Peru.
