American artist Kent Jones studied at the University of California and the Slade School of Fine Art, London. Themes in his work include boxers, young athletes and the human psyche. Jones is currently a Professor of Fine Arts and Visual Arts Chair at the Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada.
