Dutch artist Jan Hendrix attended Den Bosch Royal Academy of Art. Hendrix's art practice is closely related to his travels in Australia, China, India and Europe, as well as Mexico, his base since 1979. Although he has worked in collage and sculpture, Hendrix is primarily a graphic artist. Using a Polaroid camera, he records landscapes that have not yet been overtly affected by either Modernist culture or western capitalism. Hendrix’s work has been shown in venues worldwide.
