American artist Jack Pierson studied at the Massachusetts College of Art, Boston. Using photography, sculpture, drawings, installation and found objects, Pierson explores the emotional undercurrents of everyday life, the intimacy of romantic attachment and the idolising of stars of stage and screen. Pierson has exhibited widely in America and Europe and is represented in major public collections. A large a solo exhibition of his work took place at IMMA in 2008.
