Paris-based Russian artist Dimitri Tsykalov (born 1963) attended the Moscow Polygraphic Institute. He works in sculpture and photography, experimenting with a range of materials including wood, aluminum, wool, found objects, meat and fruit. Tsykalov has exhibited in Europe since the 1980s, including solo exhibitions at Esplanade de la Défense, Paris; Galerie Rabouan Moussion, Paris, and The Model, Sligo. He took part in the Artists’ Residency Programme at IMMA in 2003.
