Irish artist Brian Henderson won the Carroll Award at the Irish Exhibition of Living Art in 1969. He moved to New York in 1971 and divides his time between Ireland and the US. His abstract canvases are noted for their bold and vibrant colour. Henderson has been a member of Aosdána since 2007.
