IMMA is establishing a Youth Advisory Group (YAG) to ensure that our programmes for young people are shaped by the voices, ideas, and experiences of young people themselves.
The IMMA YAG will offer a platform for young people to share their views on contemporary culture, explore their artistic interests, and engage with artists, museum staff, and each other in a creative, supportive environment.
Are you aged 15–17? You can become a founding member of the IMMA YAG. As a member, you’ll share your ideas, collaborate on exciting projects, help shape museum initiatives, and meet new friends along the way. As part of YAG, you’ll also help define the group itself—your insights and opinions will directly influence its direction, format, and future development.
The initial advisory group will have 12 young founders, each joining for a two-year term. The group will meet about four times per year.
Youth-led, the IMMA YAG is designed to represent the voices of young people at the heart of Ireland’s national cultural institution. If you’re ready to be creative, influence the museum’s outlook, and help shape our cultural landscape, the IMMA Youth Advisory Group could be the perfect place for you.
