Join us to celebrate International Slow Art Day at IMMA with a selection of events designed to encourage you to slow down, take time and experience art in a new way.
Slow Art Day is a global event with more than 1,500 museums and galleries particpating with a simple mission: to help more people discover the joy of looking at and loving art. When people look slowly at a piece of art they make discoveries, so join us this Slow Art Day and see what you will discover! Families with children are welcome to request a free IMMA Explorer pack from IMMA’s reception to accompany their visit on Slow Art Day. Scroll further down this page to find out more.
Slow Art Day at IMMA is programmed as part of IMMA Horizons, Lifelong Creativity for the Curious.
