This major artwork, Fragmens Sur Les Institutions Républicaines IV, by Irish artist Shane Cullen, was executed in France in the mid 1990s. It painstakingly records the messages smuggled out of prison by Republican activists during the H-Block protests in Northern Ireland. The work, which was recently purchased by the Museum, has been widely shown elsewhere but this is the first showing of the work in its entirety in Ireland.
