This painting workshop invites participants to tap into their musical side to create rhythmic patterns and repetitious compositions while also experimenting with watercolour and different mediums.

Facilitated by Eleanor McCaughey and Leda Scully , This 2 hour workshop will begin by listening to jazz recordings and participants will be invited to use quick, impulsive, rhythmic mark-making using pencil and watercolour.

The workshop will explore organised movement, allowing the sounds and rhythms to guide the creation of disparate patterns, lines, textures and shapes to create a final composition.

These workshops will take place in the IMMA Courtyard Tent

Participants with all levels of creative experience are welcome.
