To celebrate its first ten years, the Museum’s Education and Community Department is presenting an exhibition documenting its access programmes since 1991. ‘Points of Entry’ includes photographs and artworks made by adult participants in a range of programmes and also artworks, made in response to a number of exhibitions, by children involved in IMMA’s family and Primary School Programmes. The key programmes represented are the very popular family programme, Explorer 1; two aspects of the Primary School Programme; local community programmes; the Older People’s Programme; the Artists’ Work Programme and the long-running collabration with the Family Resource Centre, St Michael’s Estate, Inchicore.
