Presented in association with IMMA Outdoors the National College of Art and Design presents its graduate showcase, NCAD Works 2021, across the grounds of IMMA. This year’s showcase is also presented online at the NCAD Works digital platform, alongside other interventions around Dublin city in a series of satellite events and occurrences.

NCAD Works 2021 showcases the work of more than 300 graduates from all departments of the college, from painting, sculpture and print to product design, textiles and fashion as well as media, textile art and artefact, communication design and more.

On the grounds of IMMA visitors can encounter selected work of NCAD recent graduates as they perform, show, wear and speak about their work, where a catalogue of projects will be on show via a pop up visual display and screening. Meanwhile, across the city centre, representations of NCAD graduate’s work will be popping up in other unexpected locations as graduates are encouraged to explore new spaces and ways of engaging the public.

The NCAD Works 2021 programme at IMMA, is reflective of the belief that students can change the world through bold and curious thinking, making and doing.  The creativity and imagination can make our environment more sustainable, our society more inclusive and our lives richer. It is from this context that IMMA Outdoors offer students a space to convene, explore and reflect safely, and to engage with the grounds of IMMA as the museum celebrates its 30th Birthday.

A full programme of events including a series of online talks will encourage further interaction with the ideas and work of the graduate students. Full details and booking information are available on the NCAD website.
