IMMA Nights presents a celebration of creative, critical and cultural work across the Arts and Humanities that was published without occasion over the past two years due to Covid-19 restrictions. This unique event welcomes all scholars, writers and artists in Ireland the opportunity to celebrate their work and achievements since 2020.
During this event, our special guest, Nicholas Allen, Professor at the University of Georgia will give a congratulatory speech alongside Annie Fletcher, Director, IMMA. This occasion is not just for the individuals themselves but for friends, families, publishers, collaborators and supporters to come together to mark the incredible achievements of the last two years.
Afterwards, guests are invited to join us for Music in the Courtyard with Úna Keane, a composer, producer and performer from Dublin. Keane blends piano, electronics, movement, and film. Her use of cyclical patterns and looped motifs produces music that mines deep whilst conjuring cinematic landscape. Recurring themes in her work link music, nature & science.
This event will be a night where people in the arts and humanities can talk, exchange ideas, debate and celebrate together.
The Flying Dog café, located in the Courtyard will remain open until 8pm. All are welcome, no booking required.
