IMMA may be closed, but in this unusual time there are plenty of ways to keep sharing art, ideas and feelings. We asked our followers on social media to share their art and lives with all of us in a collective effort to combat social isolation and boredom using the hashtag #IMMAInsideOut.
In the last few weeks lots of people have decided to join us on this adventure and take photos of their lives these days – their unusual desktop or art studio at home, what they see from their window, who are they sharing the quarantine with or their kid’s creativity – sending them to us or sharing them on their social media channels tagging us. From there, we’ve put together this image gallery as a digital exhibition and a reflection of our shared experience of these exceptional times.
JOIN US: Can’t wait to see your photographs! Please use the hashtag #IMMAInsideOut so we can see your images, and don’t forget to tag @immaireland when you share them on stories so we can re-share them too. Let’s do this!

Please notice we are leaving all the screen marks appearing on the photographs as you look at them on Instagram. We would like to maintain the original ‘social media’ essence of this collective project. We have also included your Instagram handles as the caption of the image.
