Come into the twilight gardens of Chlorologia as they come alive with deities of the good times, spirits of the marginalised, lovers of the exquisite bodies of the living and the dead. As the worms squirm beneath your feet, a chorus of diverse forces will lure you through the polychromatic dream-world of Chlorologia in an evening of celebration, enchantment and mischievous fun.
For one magical night only, Chorus of Chlorologia brings together the unique and visionary voices of writer and performer Dylan Coburn Gray; comic performer and improvisor Cian Austin Jesus Kinsella; philosopher Dr Noel Kavanagh; singer and song writer Tolü Makay; national treasure Panti and Irish traditional singers and players Varo, to weave a new cosmology of folklore through Niall Sweeney’s Club Chroma Chlorologia in the historic RHK Formal Gardens at IMMA.
Chlorologia’s Queens of Allegory & Disguise call all you fantastical creatures to join us, to dress up, to be present, and to have some fun.
Chorus of Chlorologia is presented as part of the site-specific installation Club Chroma Chlorologia by Niall Sweeney, commissioned by IMMA as part of IMMA Outdoors. See more details here
