Tour of Bully’s Acre with Paul O’Brien
Wed, 18 Aug / 7pm
Join historian and author Paul O’Brien as he tells the story of Bully’s Acre, a little known graveyard in the grounds of the Royal Hospital Kilmainham. He will take you on a unique tour of the (almost) last resting place of Robert Emmet and generations of Dubliners – commoners, businessmen, captains and privates, even sons of kings! This is a story of religion, grave robbing, poverty and sickness and is a must for all interested in the history of Dublin itself.
Booking is essential, capacity is limited. Meeting time is 6.45pm.  Please note, the tour begins sharply at 7pm. Due to the nature of the tour, latecomers cannot be admitted. Click here to book your place.
