The selection of artists in the group exhibition portrays the diversity of approach which is representative of contemporary art practice today. The artists, whose practices are informed by everyday life, address current issues such as ecology, technology, popular culture and globalization. The exhibition includes some 20 works in a variety of media from film and video to painting and installation, and will comprise new and recent work sourced directly from the artists’ studios and selected private international collections.

Artists from right across Europe, the USA, Central and South America are represented, with most of them showing their work for the first time in Ireland. Artists include Anri Sala, Carsten Höller, Jorge Pardo, Dominique Gonzalez Forester, Rirkrit Tiravanija, Doug Aitken, Douglas Gordon, Liam Gillick, Sarah Lucas, Alighiero e Boetti, Maurizio Cattelan, Sarah Morris, Cerith Wyn Evans and Michel Majerus.

The exhibition is curated by Rachael Thomas, Senior Curator: Head of Exhibitions, IMMA, and French artist Philippe Parreno.

A fully-illustrated book, published by Charta, will be produced in association with the exhibition with key texts by artists, writers, curators and poets such as Joan Didion, Lorrie Moore, Liam Gillick, Cory Doctorow, Philippe Parreno and Rachael Thomas.

A Limited Edition print by Liam Gillick and Philippe Parreno is available to buy.
