About the Artist

Corban Walker b.1967

Irish artist Corban Walker studied at the National College of Art and Design, Dublin. Walker’s sculptures in materials including steel, aluminium and glass, reference architectural scale and spatial perception. Influenced by the physical condition of Achondroplasia, he challenges the philosophy of scale and how we, as inhabitants, relate to our environs. Walker represented Ireland at the Venice Biennale in 2011. He is a member of Aosdána.
