Belfast born artist Dermot Seymour attended the University of Ulster. Seymour exhibited extensively from the 1980s. He has had solo exhibitions in Belfast, Dublin, New York, Berlin, Galway, Sligo and Derry. His work is represented in public and private collections throughout Ireland, the UK, the U.S.A and Germany. Seymour is a member of the Royal Ulster Academy and Aosdána. He lives and works in County Mayo, Ireland.
