American artist Robert Rauschenberg studied art at the Kansas City Art Institute and the Academie Julian, Paris. Since 1951 Rauschenberg’s work has been exhibited extensively in major museum exhibitions worldwide. He was the recipient of numerous awards including the Grand Prize at the 1964 Venice Biennale, a National Medal of Arts in 1993 and a Lifetime Achievement Award in Contemporary Sculpture from the International Sculpture Centre, Washinton D.C. in 1996.View Artist
