Martin Mullin was born Ireland and relocated to the United States where he attended the Art Students League, New York and the National Academy of Design, New York. He became a US citizen in 1990. Mullin has exhibited extensively in America and Europe since the late 1970s. His work is held in public and private collections including that of the Brooklyn Museum; the Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco; the United States Library of Congress and Biblioteque National, Paris.
