Born in Spain, Vincente Rojo moved to Mexico with his father, a political refugee from the Franco Regieme, in 1949. In Mexico he attended “La Esmeralda”, the Escuela Nacional de Pintura, Escultura y Grabado. He then worked as a designer for Bellas Artes Magazine from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and Artes de México. In 1991 Rojo was awarded the Golden Medal for the Mérito de Bellas Artes in Spain and the Premio BNacional de Arte and the Mexico Prize for design.View Artist
