Scottish artist Donald Urquhart (born 1963) works in a range of media including painting, drawing, film, photography, printmaking and site specific installation in order to explore ideas of seeing and knowing in relation to the western landscape tradition. Urquhart has exhibited in Britain and internationally since the early 2000s, including solo exhibitions at the Maureen Paley, London; Galleria S.A.L.E.S., Rome; the Jack Hanley Gallery, Los Angeles, and Schnittraum, Cologne. Urquhart took part in IMMA’s Artists’ Residency Programme in 2000.
