    Eve Arnold 1912–2012

    Photographer Eve Arnold studied photography at the New School for Social Research, New York before joining Magnum Photos in 1951. In the 1960s Arnold moved to England and started to work for the Sunday Times magazine. She travelled worldwide, photographing in China, Afghanistan, South Africa and Russia. She also photographed public figures including Queen Elizabeth II, Malcolm X, and Marilyn Monroe. She received many awards, published numerous books and exhibited her work worldwide.
