Irish artist Charles Tyrrell attended the National College of Art and Design. Incorporating drawing, print and painting on canvas and aluminium, Tyrrell’s practice combines abstract, geometric forms with elements of the experienced world. Tyrell represented Ireland at the Paris Biennale in 1982. He has had solo exhibitions at the RHA; Project Arts Centre, Dublin, and the Butler Gallery, Kilkenny. Tyrell taught at the Dun Laoghaire School of Art from 1977 to 1981. He is a member of Aosdána.View Artist
