Environmental crisis is the subject of Nevan Lehart’s Goya’s Gaia series, in which a cartoon planet Earth meets Francisco Goya’s Disasters of War. Here the Earth’s carbon sink is broken. His art practice aims to engage in creative collaboration in ways that may be seen as either humorous or deeply subversive.
