This group of works is one of two series entitled ‘The Troubles: An Artist’s Document of Ulster’. The first is a group of 80 cibachrome photographs produced by Levine in 1972 while this suite comprises 18 photo-etchings made in 1979 from photographs taken in 1972. Both bodies of work were donated to IMMA by the artist.
