American photographer Bruce Davidson attended Rochester Institute of Technology and Yale University. From 1957 he worked as a freelance photographer and joined Magnum Photos in 1958. Davidson gained recognition in the early 1960s for his documentation of the American civil rights movement. He received a Guggenheim fellowship in 1962, and had a solo show at MoMA, New York, the following year. Davidson’s work has been exhibited worldwide and included in a number of photographic publications.View Artist
