Sardinian artist Constantino Nivola trained in stonecutting before attending the Istituto Istruzione Superiore di Monza, Italy. He moved to the US and became artistic director for ‘Interiors’ magazine in 1940. Nivola served as director of the Design Workshop at Harvard University Graduate School in the 1950s. He was appointed Professor of Art at Columbia in 1962. He also taught at Dartmouth College, the University of California, Berkeley and the International University of Art in Florence.View Artist
