    Braco Dimitrijevic b.1948

    Yugoslavian artist Braco Dimitrijevic attended the Zagreb Academy of Art and St Martin’s School of Art, London. He gained recognition in the 1970s for his ‘Casual Passer-by’ series, in which large photographic portraits of unknown people were installed on facades and billboards in cities across Europe and the US. Solo exhibitions of Dimitrijevic’s work have been held at venues including Tate, London; Kunsthalle Dusseldorf; Musée d’Orsay, Paris, and the Russian State Museum, St. Petersburg.
