American painter, sculptor and printmaker Ellsworth Kelly attended the Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and the École des Beaux-Arts, Paris. Based in New York from 1954, he had his first solo exhibition at the Betty Parsons Gallery in 1956. Kelly’s work has been exhibited extensively, including solo exhibitions at the Museum of Modern Art, New York, the Whitney Museum of American Art and the Guggenheim Museum, New York.View Artist
