Irish painter Sean Fingleton attended University College Dublin, Letterkenny Regional Technical College and the National College of Art and Design, Dublin. Many of Fingleton’s landscape and seascape paintings are completed en plein air. He has received a number of awards including the Independent Artists Painting Bursary, the Guinness Peat Aviation Emerging Artists Award, and the Fergus O'Ryan RHA Memorial Award. Fingleton is an elected member of Aosdána.
