Venezuelan artist Saúl A. Huerta studied Fine Art at the Cristobal Rojas School of Visual Arts, graduating in 1973. He went on to study graphic techniques and worked as a teacher in drawing, painting and graphics. In 1980 Heurta served as Director at the School of Visual Arts in Maracay before returning to the Cristobal Rojas School of Visual Arts in 1983 as Professor of Drawing.
