Artist Karen Tam lives and works in Montréal and London where she is a doctoral candidate at Goldsmiths’ Centre for Cultural Studies, University of London. Tam attended Concordia University in Montréal and The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She has exhibited extensively since 1999 and in 2004 participated in IMMA’s Artist Residency Programme. Her work can be found in private and public collections, including the Canada Council for the Arts Art Bank and Concordia University.
