American artist John Goodyear studied design at the University of Michigan. He taught at the University of Massachusetts from 1962 to 1964 and was Professor of Art at Rutgers University from 1964 to 1997. Throughout his career Goodyear has experimented with a range of processes and materials including painting, drawing, sculpture, installation, light, optics and heat.
